Multiversism

The previous article (The Multiverse) got me thinking.

If the existence of the multiverse can give us unsurpassed confidence and make us better people, then why not believe in it irrespective of whether we can prove its existence?

Multiversism - Qualiaura

Nurture the blind faith…you know.

Add another religion to the never-ending list - a chronicle of imagined hypotheses that can obscure the very existence of an individual, in whatever form they come in, while all that is left for us to cherish is the natural world.

So, should we start a new movement here? The million-dollar question. Quite literally. Religion is money, my friend.

Here’s my sales pitch:

To the religious, I ask - don’t you think your God is capable of creating the multiverse?

To the atheists, I ask - why won’t you believe in the multiverse? There was a time when it was inconceivable that the earth was not the center of the universe.

To the agnostics, I ask - how does the existence of a liveable and mentally habitable world sound? I know you care about that.

Being able to bring all these folks together…wow…this one might actually be a winner!

“Love your enemies as you love yourself” might finally be logical. The Multiversism effect!

But keep in mind though - just like every other religion, Multiversism too can be destructive.

If the belief in the multiverse is the beginning of a new kind of life one where we can attain unsurpassed confidence, actual faith in Multiversism can crack the newness. It’ll just be like any other religion. Need I say more?

But it all depends on what you know and how you show. Choices. Holds true for every religion. Holds true in every universe.
